Reece travels to San Francisco to seek answers on a drug that may have started this all. Katie attempts to turn Mike Tedesco in an effort to blow up Capstone's plans for Nubellum. Tony and his team stick close to Horn, hoping to intercept Reece.

The Reece story now reverberating on a national scale, the FBI steps up their manhunt and closes in on Reece in a remote state park north of San Francisco. Without his medications, Reece's physiological and psychological symptoms escalate, leading to intensifying conflations. And as Reece struggles to escape without killing anyone, Tony Layun realizes his fugitive might be far more than a warrior suffering a psychotic break.
