The Field of Blood

Paddy now has her dream job, working the night shift on the call car with fellow reporter McVie. All this changes with the arrival of a new editor in chief. Meanwhile, an innocuous call to a disturbance in a posh area of Glasgow leads Paddy to uncover a cold-blooded murder.

As war breaks out in the newsroom, Paddy's investigation uncovers a dirty tricks campaign against the NUM and a government cover-up. The Glasgow Daily News is in danger, and so are its journalists. Can they stop fighting each other long enough to discover the complex truth?
