Great Canal Journeys

Timothy West and Prunella Scales attempt one of the longest and most beautiful canal journeys in the world, travelling 350 miles, across Sweden.

In the second leg of the voyage they follow the ancient route of the Vikings and visit Stockholm, navigating the city's canals and heading out into the far-flung islands of the archipelago.

Timothy West and Prunella Scales conclude their boat journey with a trip down the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal. The couple return to some of the scenes of their early lives together and also revisit the start of their acting careers.
