Following the hostage situation, the holidaymakers return to The Solana to enjoy a free week's holiday as compensation for their travails the previous year. Martin's new girlfriend is eager to leave the confines of the resort and have a good time, while Mel enlists Mick's help to open his new mobility shop - but disaster awaits.

On a trip to the waterfalls of Callosa, Mick upsets Janice and it looks like their relationship might not survive this time. Brandy plays a practical joke on Martin which results in him running through the water naked. Noreen becomes convinced that her son, The Oracle, is gay.

The Oracle is given the run around by a blind date with a very big secret and Brandy seduces Mateo when Martin isn't looking. Meanwhile, Mel decides he is going to buy local tourist spot Peacock Island and tries to find the mysterious Spanish owner.

When Madge's estranged daughter Valda arrives at The Solana, Madge is convinced that she is after Mel's money. Cockney conman Gary starts working his way through the holidaymakers, and a remedy for an upset stomach proves unsettling for Madge.

Gavin discovers that Troy is apparently cheating on him, and the Oracle's tall tales get him in trouble with the police. Martin's mother Diana comes to help him but only succeeds in making him feel much, much worse, and Mel and Madge take to the stage at the Benidorm Palace.

Practical joker Wink McAndrew, an old friend of Donald's, checks in - but Jacqueline is concerned for the consequences. Elsewhere, the Oracle tells his mum Noreen he wants to move away from home, Martin asks Kate to take him back, and Madge and Mel decide they want to stay on in Benidorm and pursue a new business interest - but they have to convince the Mayor to give them permission first.
