Agatha Christie's Marple

When Gwenda Halliday moves in to the home of her dreams, she begins to see ghostly apparitions. Then it is discovered that Gwenda grew up in the house and the mystery becomes more sinister when she and Miss Marple realise that an unsolved murder was committed there.

Lymstock is a town with more than its share of shameful secrets - a town where even a sudden outbreak of anonymous hate mail causes only a minor stir. When Mona Symmington commits suicide as a result of one of the letters, Miss Marple believes that there is more to the case than meets the eye.

When Tommy and Tuppence visit an elderly aunt in her nursing home, Tuppence is concerned by some odd behaviour of the staff and residents. Later, when Tuppence hears about Aunt Ada's sudden death and the disappearance of her aunt's friend Mrs Lancaster, she realises her concerns were right. Tuppence meets Miss Marple and together they follow a path of clues that leads them to the village of Farrell St Edmund.

A snow blizzard sets in and Miss Marple is forced to take refuge at Sittaford House, isolated on a bleak Devon moor. The owner of the house, Captain Trevelyan, inexplicably decides to spend the night at a local hotel where a ouija board predicts his death. He is later found dead in his room - and Miss Marple's suspicions are confirmed.
