The Sopranos fans can watch the premiere on Sunday, 8 September. On Foxtel, it’s scheduled to debut at 8.30pm and will simultaneously stream on Foxtel Now and BINGE.
The second and last episode will air the following week, 15 September.

Where to watch Wise Guy: David Chase and The Sopranos in Australia?
The new documentary series tackling one of TV’s legendary shows will be streaming in Australia on BINGE, Foxtel, and Foxtel Now, particularly launching on Famous (formerly Docos).
Fortunately, both BINGE and Foxtel Now still offer 7-day and 10-day free trials, respectively, so you can catch the premiere for free online or on your TV.
How to sign up to BINGE?
HBO’s new The Sopranos documentary is confirmed to debut in Australia on BINGE. To begin, you’ll need a subscription in order to access BINGE full catalogue of shows and movies.
There are three plans available when signing up, available on a monthly basis. First is the Basic (with ads) plan, streaming in HD on one screen at only $10 monthly. Next is the Standard plan, which allows streaming movies and shows on up to two screens in HD or 4K on selected content for $18/month.
If you want to elevate your streaming experience with 4K and four concurrent streams, you’ll need to upgrade your subscription to Premium at $22/month. BINGE still offers a 7-day free trial for new customers.
To sign up, go to the BINGE website, select ‘New to BINGE? Click Here’ and follow instructions. After entering your email address and password, you’ll need to select a subscription type, and submit your payment information. And just like that, you have a BINGE subscription, plus a free trial to help you decide if you want to keep the service.
How to sign up to Foxtel or Foxtel Now?
Another option to watch The Sopranos documentary is Foxtel, which is launching episodes on the Famous channel. Fortunately, the base Foxtel Plus bundle already includes the channel, the home of trending documentaries and other TV shows.
To get started, choose a Foxtel entertainment plan you want to sign up for. The cheapest package is Foxtel Plus, which includes over 60 channels of drama, lifestyle, news, kids TV, music channels, and more. It even includes the Multiscreen feature to watch Foxtel on another screen via smart TV app or casting.
You can also stream the new docuseries when you sign up for Foxtel’s online streaming service, Foxtel Now, which still offers a free 10-day trial for new customers.
On the Foxtel Now website, select the ‘Start free trial’ button to get started. After the free trial, Foxtel Now plans start at $25 per month for the base Essentials pack, which includes LifeStyle. This two-part documentary series from HBO features David Chase, the writer and creator of The Sopranos, as he discusses important events that took place while in the process of bringing the series to life.
Also featured in the documentary are writers, producers, executives, and actors, each one bringing their respective talents and industry influence into making The Sopranos the iconic program that it is today.
Even more exciting for fans of the legendary series, “the documentary offers insight and inspiration along with a stunning array of clips from the show, early audition videos from many of the cast members, and behind-the-scenes footage to take the viewer into the vibrant Sopranos world”, as per HBO’s synopsis.
The Sopranos actors appearing in the show include Lorraine Bracco, Edie Falco, Michael Imperioli, and Drea de Matteo. Srchival interviews with late actors Nancy Marchand, James Gandolfini, and Tony Sirico will also be featured.
Wise Guy: David Chase and The Sopranos is directed by Academy Award-winner Alex Gibney (Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief and The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley).
