What time is the AFL live on TV Today?

The Seven network is the official AFL free to air broadcast provider in Australia, showing a minimum of three live games per round, as well as every match of the Finals Series including the AFL Grand Final.

Channel Seven will televise AFL games on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, while the network’s Sunday broadcast goes out on 7Mate.

These AFL free to air options are live broadcasts only, meaning you can’t stream games via Network Seven’s streaming platform, 7Plus, as these rights belong to Foxtel and Kayo.

For comparison, the Fox Footy channel courtesy of Foxtel and Kayo Sports, will televise every match from every round live, and ad-break free, before the Grand Final. That equals up to five exclusive games each week.

This includes up to three exclusive matches on Saturday, and two on Sunday, as well as offering the option to stream every AFL match live (excluding the Grand Final) regardless of which network is carrying it.
