What is the plot of the Tracker TV show?
Tracker follows Colter Shaw, an adept lone wolf survivalist who also has the exceptional ability of finding missing people and untangling all manner of mysteries behind their disappearances. He uses his expert tracking skills to help law enforcement solve intriguing cases of people who just vanished.
A reward seeker, Colter finds his profession fulfilling. He also works with private citizens who need his expertise to search for loved ones in exchange for reward money. As he delves into cases of missing people across the country, Colter must also deal with the aftermath of his own fractured family.
In Tracker Season 2, he continues his unusual way of making a living, starting with his investigation in the disappearance of a girl named Gina Picket. Later in the season, Colter himself disappears, his disappearance used to introduce his estranged older brother Russell played by Jensen Ackles.
The new season also adds the character Camille Picket (Floriana Lima) as Colter’s love interest. The missing girl, Gina, is her sister, making this case particularly personal for Colter.
In addition to Hartley, Tracker also stars Abby McEnany as Velma Bruin, Eric Graise as Bobby Exley, and Fiona Rene as Reenie Greene. Robin Weigert, who played as Colter’s handler Teddi Bruin, is not returning for Season 2. Prestyn Bates also stars as young Colter Shaw.
The Tracker TV series was created by Ben H. Winters, based on Jeffery Deaver’s novel “The Never Game”.
