Tipping Point Australia: TV release date and where to watch

The long-running British game show will finally have its local remake in 2024 with Channel 9 commissioning Tipping Point Australia.

But before its much-awaited premiere, Nine is teasing fans with a sneak peek episode of the upcoming show on December 24, right before the annual Carols by Candelight!

Where to watch Tipping Point Australia?

You can stream episodes when they arrive on Channel 9 and later for catch-up streaming on 9Now. 

You can also stream episodes from selected seasons (currently season 4 and season 12) of the original Tipping Point on 9Now.

Tipping Point Australia release date

A specific release date hasn’t been announced yet, although we know that it will premiere in January 2024 to fill the 5pm weekday slot. 

Nine has also announced a special sneak peek episode that’s scheduled to air on the network at 7.30 pm on Sunday, 24 December 2023.

Game shows are a television staple and so the addition of the Australian version of Tipping Point is welcome news for fans.

The local version joins Channel 9’s roster of programs from January, airing on weekdays at 5pm. One of Australia’s free to air networks, watching your favourites on Channel 9 is completely free.

Introducing Tipping Point Australia

Australia’s own Tipping Point is set to arrive in early 2024, a remarkable addition to Channel 9’s line-up.

Based on the UK game show, the Australian remake is spicing things up with a special ‘endgame’ that comes with a whopping $40,000 prize. The contestants for the local remake have yet to be announced. 

Originally, the game begins with three players answering general knowledge questions. Getting the right answers will win hopeful contestants counters, which can then be used on a huge coin pusher, an arcade-like machine.

Since Tipping Point combines general knowledge, downright luck, and edge-of-your-seat unpredictability, it has always been one of the top favourites among game show fans.
