Read on to find out more about this exciting fifth season, plus how and where to watch it.
A deeper look into The Real Housewives of Melbourne Season 5
Even though the new season is well into production, the executive producers have left us a little in the dark as to what the sassy socialites will be getting up to exactly. We can confirm, however, that it will be fabulous, opulent and fun-filled. Expect to follow the busy, lavish lifestyles of a group of go-getter women who thrive on their pampered and cultured lifestyle in Melbourne alongside their high-profile businessmen husbands.
The Real Housewives of Melbourne’s fifth season will not feature original cast members Gina Liano and Lydia Schiavello this time around, as both decided to leave the show after last season. While Liano was initially part of the RHOM Season 5 cast, she had a change of heart. Schiavello, meanwhile, confirmed her departure from the show, expressing her gratitude for the “camaraderie and challenges that her fellow cast members presented”. Fear not – the new cast does not disappoint as guaranteed by Foxtel’s group general manager for Lifestyle, Wendy Moore.
RHOM Season 5 cast
The Real Housewives of Melbourne Season five stars a fun and an intriguing mix of some original cast members and a new cast of glamorous faces, including:
- Gamble Breaux
- Janet Roach
- Simone Elliott
- Cherry Dipietrantonio
- Kyla Kirkpatrick
- Anjali Rao
Jackie Gillies, an exceptionally high-profile professional psychic and wife of Silverchair drummer Ben Gillies, previously decided to leave RHOM. However, she will be donning her high heels once again and sticking around for this new season where she will reunite with singer-songwriter, Gamble Breaux, and Janet Roach, a successful businesswoman and mother to two children.
Foxtel announced earlier this year that we’ll be spoilt with not one, but four new housewives, in what’s set to be a wild ride this season! Meet Simone Elliott, a high flyer who juggles her high flying corporate job with studying for her MBA and being a mum. Next up we have Cherry Dipietrantonio, a mother of three who is also a yoga teacher and is a qualified personal trainer. Then there’s Kyla Kirkpatrick, the “Champagne Dame”. And last, but not least, the highly recognised and award-winning news anchor and mum to one, Anjali Rao. It’s safe to say you can expect new friendships… and some frazzled ones.
RHOM Season 5 release date
