What is the Teacup TV series about?

Adapted from Robert R. McCammon’s New York Times bestselling novel “Stinger”, Teacup revolves around a group of people cut off from the rest of the world after a mysterious figure seemingly entraps them inside their town. With no idea of what’s happening, the residents helplessly attempt to find answers to no avail.

After trapping the town, the sinister entity plagues its people with an indecipherable horror, ravaging the lands that result in shocking mutations. With nowhere to go and desperate to protect their families, the people in the town, despite their differences, band together to survive and defeat their aggressor.

Teacup was created and adapted for television by Ian McCulloch. James Wan, best known for creating The Conjuring universe, executive produced the series with McCulloch, Michael Clear, Rob Hackett, E. L. Katz, Francisca X. Hu, Robert R. McCammon, Kevin Tancharoen, and series lead Yvonne Strahovski.
