Emma Roberts stars as a Florida party girl-turned an astronaut in training in Amazon’s new comedy Space Cadet.
A fun, ruckus space adventure, sort of, is coming to your screens in July with Roberts, fresh from her American Horror Story: Delicate outing, returns to comedy to play a young woman finally getting the chance to land her dream job. The only problem is, the dream is going to space and her ‘doctored’ application won’t probably help her fly and land a fighter jet. But with her wits and moxie maybe she can.

Watch Space Cadet on Amazon Prime Video
One of Amazon’s new releases this coming July, the movie will stream exclusively on Prime Video, a streaming service that’s part of the larger Amazon Prime. New customers can test run the service for 30 days free. After that, the monthly plan is $9.99/month, or save a little with the annual plan at $79.
In addition to well-made original shows, Amazon Prime is no stranger to big movie productions with originals like Road House, Air, Being the Ricardos, The Tomorrow War, and more movies to stream.
Prime has only one streaming tier which allows up to three concurrent streaming and 4K video quality on selected titles. Since there’s only one option, all these features are included in the $9.99 monthly plan.
With other streamers, users are required to subscribe to a premium plan to get all the best stuff. So despite the recent price increase, this still makes Prime Video one of the cheapest services in Australia.

Amazon Studios’ new original film follows Tiffany “Rex” Simpson, a bartender whose dream of becoming an astronaut has been derailed by, well, life. Determined to land her dream job, she attempts to send an application to NASA despite her lack of qualifications.
Knowing that her persistence and enthusiasm alone aren’t enough to earn a spot, her best friend Nadine (Poppy Liu) takes matters into her hands, meaning Rex got into NASA with everyone thinking she went to MIT, flew fighter jets, won a Pulitzer prize, and a long list of accomplishments she has no idea about.
But instead of leaving, she figures it’s still worth a shot. Maybe persistence and enthusiasm, plus her unique wits and moxie, are really enough.
The new comedy film is “about the power of being yourself, following your dreams and shooting for the stars” written and directed by Liz W. Garcia (Purple Hearts).
