What is the plot of Sidelined: The QB and Me?
Dallas (Agudong) is a dancer who dreams to enter the best dance school in the country, her late mother’s alma mater. Despite the time and intense effort she spends on training, the school is just too competitive for her to get noticed.
Her aspirations are further derailed when she meets school heartthrob Drayton (Beck), also the beloved quarterback of high school football. Secretly grieving and with a strict father (played by Dawson’s Creek (James Van Der Beek) too concerned about his life’s directions, he certainly has his own story to tell.
As their paths cross, will they serve as each other’s distractions (and be sidelined) or will they build their dreams together?
In addition to Beck and Agudong, Sidelined: The QB and Me stars Drew Ray Tanner as Nathan Bryan, Deborah Cox as Miss Alicia, Asia Lizardo as Gabby, and James Van Der Beek as Leroy Lahey.
