Introducing Ready Steady Cook (2024)
Foodies and those who want to unleash their inner chef will be delighted to know that Channel 10’s cooking series is making a comeback in 2024, returning more than a decade after the original show ended in 2013.
The reboot will follow the same format – there will be two teams (Tomato and Capsicum) competing, each consisting of a celebrity chef and a home cook. The challenge is to prepare the yummiest dish by using only five ingredients, in addition to pantry supplies. The even tougher challenge is, of course, the 20-minute time limit. Judging the winning team is the live studio audience.
That’s not all – there’s a final round to prevail over, but this time it’s the celebrity chefs showcasing their talent, technique, and experience to wow audiences. Increasing the stakes, they’ll only have 10 minutes to impress viewers with their culinary magic.
With Miguel Maestre taking on hosting duties and a stellar line-up of chefs, including Anna Polyviou, Adriano Zumbo, Hayden Quinn, Khanh Ong, and Alice Zaslavsky, 2024’s Ready Steady Cook is a must-see for long-time fans of the show, as well as new audiences hoping to pick up a culinary trick or two.
