Jennifer Lawrence’s series of comeback films continues with the R-rated comedy No Hard Feelings, which follows a woman in her 30s who’s hired to date an awkward, inexperienced 19-year-old boy.
Between losing her home and getting into a fake sort of romance with a boy, arranged by his own parents, keeping her house takes precedence over everything else. But what’s meant to be a quick side hustle ends up changing not only her life, but also the life of the young man she’s supposed to seduce.

What is the plot of No Hard Feelings movie?
Completely broke and about to lose the house she inherited from her mother, Maddie Barker (Lawrence) becomes desperate enough to take on a bizarre Craigslist posting.
The job? Dating the Princeton-bound Percy, who, according to his parents, is having a tough time coming out of his shell. Never mind weird, the job posting sounds preposterous, but turns out to be for real as she meets the boy’s parents, who promises her a Buick Regal in exchange.
However, despite her charm and hilarious persistence, Percy proves to be a challenge, mistaking her for a kidnapper when they first met. With her many attempts to seduce him backfiring every time, they instead begin to form a different kind of relationship: they got to know each other and became friends.
The 2023 comedy is directed by Gene Stupnitsky (Good Boys, Bad Teacher) from a script he co-wrote with John Phillips. Lead star Jennifer Lawrence also produced the film alongside Alex Saks, Naomi Odenkirk, Marc Provissiero, and Justine Ciarrocchi.
