For the second year in a row, the NFL schedule powered by AWS will include each club playing 17 regular-season games and three preseason games.

The 17th game will include teams from rival conferences that finished in the same divisional standings the previous season. In 2023/24, the AFC will be the host conference for the 17th game.

How to watch the NFL live in Australia

Fox Sports provides live National Football League games via ESPN. Fox Sports is accessible on Foxtel, Foxtel Now, and Kayo Sports in Australia. This means that if you have a membership to any of these three services, you will be able to watch gridiron with the click of a button.

In addition to live action, ESPN Australia broadcasts NFL SportsCenter before each Sunday Night Football game, which is televised Monday mornings in Australia.

ESPN also offers popular programming such as Sunday NFL Countdown, Monday Night Countdown, NFL Live, and the NFL Primetime show. All NFL network programming and live games on ESPN may be viewed later on demand with Foxtel and Kayo Sports.

Stream the NFL live on Kayo Sports

You can also stream ESPN online with Kayo Sports. Kayo offers access to the same broadcasts as Fox Sports (including ESPN). This means you can live stream NFL games up to five times per week. 

There are two different plans of their subscription service available when you sign up to a Kayo One or Kayo Basic Plan. Both subscriptions provide the same level of access to Kayo’s sports content, with the only difference being how many screens you can stream content with – so you can stream the action live, or catch on-demand replays of all the available games no matter your plan.

Kayo Sports also has no lock-in contract or set up fees, which means you can cancel anytime if you’re no longer using it. *Kayo subscribers are advised that starting 16th of January, Kayo Premium will no longer be available upon sign up. Subscribers of Premium will be moved to Basic between 14th of February to 13th of March, depending on their billing date. All Basic subscribers will then have 4k access starting 12th of February.

Watch the NFL live Online with Foxtel

ESPN can be accessed via Foxtel and Foxtel Now. To watch on Foxtel with a Standard or High Definition TV, you have several choices, including subscribing to the Foxtel Plus pack to access over 50 channels of entertainment, drama, lifestyle, docos, reality and more. 

You can also watch American football live online with Foxtel Now. This includes the option to stream games using the Foxtel Go app. Foxtel Now also have no lock-in contract so you’re free to pause or cancell at anytime.

Watch or stream the NFL live on 7Mate and 7Plus

Network Seven is the free to air home of the NFL in Australia, and will televise up to three live games a week. Seven’s live NFL coverage will be carried on Channel 7, 7mate and their on-demand streaming platform 7plus.

Seven’s NFL TV schedule will include two weekly Sunday afternoon games (broadcast Monday mornings in Australia), plus all the action from the Playoffs, and one of the biggest sporting events in the world – the Super Bowl.

Australian fans will also have access to exclusive on-demand TV shows, video replays, highlights and bonus content on 7plus. Additional programming includes the weekly live post-match analysis show, NFL Armchair Experts, hosted by Ben Graham.

Watch the NFL live with Telstra

Foxtel, Foxtel Now and Kayo Sports are available through Telstra, as such customers can access these services by simply adding their preferred provider to their accounts. 

Foxtel from Telstra offers the exact same programming as a standard Foxtel service, and is available as an add-on service with the purchase of a twelve-month subscription. Once onboard you will be provided an iQ4 or iQ5 set-top box.

To access live sport using Foxtel Now from Telstra you will need to pay for the Foxtel Now Essentials Pack and then add the Sports HD Pack. Additionally, there is no extra equipment or installation required.

Likewise, the Kayo Sports on Telstra package often includes a cancel anytime feature. To access Kayo Sports on Telstra simply choose between either Kayo One, Kayo Basic or the Kayo Premium plans.

Much like the Foxtel Now from Telstra package, the Kayo Sports plans are often available at a reduced monthly rate and require no extra equipment or installation.
