What is Larger Than Life: Reign of the Boybands about?

Larger Than Life: Reign of the Boybands takes us back to when boybands dominated the airwaves. While the pop groups of the millennium are preceded by big names like The Beatles and Jackson 5, groups rising to fame during the so-called boy band era have left a remarkable impact that those who grew up listening to their music remember such times with delightful fondness.

Chronicling every milestone and the evolution of it all, Reign of the Boybands is a tribute to all fans out there, which features members of NSYNC, 98 Degrees, Backstreet Boys, HANSON, New Edition, New Kids On The Block, The Osmonds, and SEVENTEEN.

We’ll also get to see lots of exciting footage and more interviews from key figures who helped create boy bands. Bringing all these on the table, it’s safe to assume we’re in for a nostalgic ride.

The documentary film is directed by Tamra Davis and produced by MTV Entertainment Studios in partnership with Gunpowder & Sky.
