The new season of Kin was originally released last March 2023. For fans in Australia waiting for new episodes to become available, season 2 finally arrives Wednesday, 31 January 2024 at 9.15pm on SBS.

What is the plot of Kin (TV series)?
After a young boy is murdered, the Kinsellas, a local crime family in Dublin, seek vengeance, pitting them against an international cartel.
Their grief and rage and the enemies they’ve made as a result of their brutal campaign for revenge are just some of the challenges they must overcome to thrive and survive.

The Kinsellas may have eliminated their biggest enemy, but they find out soon enough that troubles will always find a way to sneak in as insidiously as possible. The Kinsella family, while sharing an unbreakable bond, will also be plagued by suspicions, distrust, and loathing as they navigate the slippery slopes of the drug trade with new, bigger threats to face.

Kin Season 1 starred Aidan Gillen as the head of the Kinsella family Frank, Charlie Cox and Emmett J Scanlan played his nephews Michael and Jimmy, respectively. Playing as Frank’s sister Birdy, the family’s mediator, is Maria Doyle Kennedy (Outlander), while Clare Dunne played Jimmy’s wife Amanda.
Ciarán Hinds also starred as Eamon Cunningham in season 1, a crime boss who supplies the Kinsellas the drugs they need to operate.
