What is the plot of Invincible Season 3?
The Invincible TV series follows Mark Grayson, an up-and-coming superhero who struggles to live up to his powerful superhero father’s legacy. As Mark develops powers and builds his strength in the first season, he comes across his own disturbing discovery when he learns that his father, Omni-Man, the most powerful superhero on the planet, is not as heroic as everyone thinks.
Now in its third season, Mark has come a long way from his days as a struggling superhero simultaneously juggling school and training. He’s not like every other guy, not anymore, as Mark begins to get remarkably stronger and more powerful.
Only his enemies are also stronger and his life more complex: he’s still reeling from his breakup with Amber, his fight with Angstrom Levy, and Oliver’s superpowers beginning to develop. Omni-Man and Allen the Alien escaping from prison will also bring about notable changes to Mark’s life, as well as that of the world-saving superheroes from Guardians of the Globe.
The adult animated superhero series is created by The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman. It stars Steven Yeun in the lead role of Mark Grayson / Invincible, alongside Sandra Oh as Debbie Grayson, and J. K. Simmons as Nolan Grayson / Omni-Man.
Also serving as important characters in Invincible, Atom Eve is played by Gillian Jacobs, Mark’s best friend William is voiced by Andrew Rannells, Amber is voiced by Zazie Beetz, and Cecil is voiced by Walton Goggins. Mahershala Ali also voices crime lord Titan.
