The cast of the hit Nickelodeon series, Zoey 101, return for a wedding party that easily turns into a high school reunion in the new movie, Zoey 102. With the high school teens at the Pacific Coast Academy (PCA) reuniting after over a decade, Nickelodeon fans are in for some nostalgic treat. Jamie Lynn Spears and several cast members from the original show are all set to return, plus some new characters meant to spice up the dynamics of the original cast.
Dropping on streaming in August, here’s everything you need to know about the sequel film Zoey 102.

Zoey 102 movie preview
The original series, which aired for four seasons from 2005 to 2008, follows Zoey Brooks (Jamie Lynn Spears), her brother Dustin (Paul Butcher), and her friends as they attend PCA. Zoey and her friends are the first wave of female graduates at the prestigious boarding school, which used to have an “only boys allowed” policy. Throughout the series, fans saw the many adventures that the PCA gang experienced together.
But the wild escapades don’t stop even now that they’ve all grown up. In Zoey 102, everyone is set to meet again after over a decade to attend Logan and Quinn’s wedding, which ultimately becomes a high school reunion. Unfortunately for Zoey, ex-boyfriend Chase Matthews is also in attendance, which means she can’t show up alone and which is why she hires an actor to pretend as her boyfriend.
Pretending to be dating someone when you’re not just to not lose face with the ex-boyfriend around is a classic way of asking for trouble. But it’s Zoey Brooks so we can expect her to rise above the occasion and still have the zest to party. Maybe there’s even a chance for her and Chase to give it another try. The series ended with the two characters finally becoming a couple, after all.
The sequel movie, which features many of the Pacific Coast Academy alumni, is hitting streaming TV in August. It is directed by Nancy Hower from a screenplay by Monica Sherer and Madeline Whitby. The original series, Zoey 101, was created by Dan Schneider.
