The Winchesters TV show preview
In The Winchesters, narrator Dean Winchester shares his parents’ story – how they met, fall in love, and fight monsters together. They’re also bonded by their yearning to find their missing fathers. While Supernatural fans already have some knowledge about John and Mary’s past as hunters, the prequel naturally delves more into their history and every circumstance leading up to their eventual fates.
Sam and Dean’s parents are an integral part of the Supernatural universe. Both their existence and death culminated in the brothers being the best of the best in the ‘hunting’ business, getting them equipped to save the world from every kind of supernatural peril. Set in the 1970s, The Winchesters is John and Mary’s untold story of how they found each other and how they eventually save the world.
