FX’s most-watched cable series, The Old Man, is set to premiere in Australia soon. Based on Thomas Perry’s best-selling book of the same name, the heart-racing series delivers the utmost intensity one would expect from a thriller. It follows a former CIA operative who has been living off the grid, only to be haunted (and hunted) by his past as both the CIA and FBI do everything in their power to bring him in. But catching him is tougher than the authorities expected and so the higher-ups bring out the big guns.
Featuring an ensemble cast that’s headlined by award-winning actor Jeff Bridges, The Old Man finally arrives in Australia and using this guide you can find out how to watch every episode online.

The Old Man TV series preview
This new thriller follows Dan Chase (Jeff Bridges) a former operative who absconded from the CIA decades ago. He has been living off the grid in Upstate New York for thirty years, that is until an assassin arrives to take him out. While in hiding, Chase rents a room from Zoe McDonald (Amy Brenneman).
As he’s again forced to flee, Chase finally tells Zoe the truth about his past, and so both Chase and Zoe become partners on the run. Ultimately flushed out of hiding, he realises it’s time to face his past in order to secure his future.
Assigned to apprehend Chase is FBI’s Assistant Director for Counterintelligence, Harold Harper. Their complicated past during the Soviet-Afghan War made him ideal for the job. Working alongside Harper is his protégée, Angela Adams (Alia Shawkat) and CIA Special Agent Raymond Waters (E.J. Bonilla).
However, Chase proves to be more difficult to catch with his unrivalled skills and instincts. To address this, the authorities render the service of a highly-trained black ops contractor to deal with him. As Dan Chase’s past catches up with him, he now understands that he must reconcile his past in order to survive.
