From the producers of Bob’s Burgers comes a new animated sitcom, The Great North, revolving around single dad Beef Tobin and his mighty efforts to keep everything afloat while caring for his four kids – Judy, Wolf, Ham, and Moon. Judy’s artistic aspirations may have led her away from the family fishing boat but Beef intends for his family to stay together. With so many Alaskan adventures ahead of them, the Tobin family offers quirky humour and family drama that easily resonates, making The Great North funny as it is cosy.

What’s in this Guide?
The Great North preview
Following the Alaskan adventures of the Tobin family, The Great North is set in the fictional town of Lone Moose, Alaska where family man Beef Tobin resides alongside his four children. With his wife not in the picture, he strives to keep his kids close so that he’s projected as overbearing most of the time.
Nonetheless, his love and devotion for his children is the central theme in each episode, making The Great Family a blend of odd humour and charming drama.
Revolving around the Tobin family, we’re introduced to Beef Tobin, a fisherman and a divorced father of four, his oldest son Wolf and his wife Honeybee, his middle son Ham, his daughter Judy, and youngest son Moon.
Beef is mostly protective of Judy, whose creativity and passion often encourages her to get out of her comfort zone and search for more opportunities elsewhere. With her mother not around, she seeks support from her boss Alyson and her imaginary friend Alanis Morissette.
Created by Wendy and Lizzie Molyneux, Minty Lewis, and Loren Bouchard, best known for their work in Bob’s Burgers, The Great North is a great addition to Fox’s impressive roster of animated comedies.
