What is the plot of The Curse (Nathan Fielder series)?
The series begins when a newly married couple, Asher and Whitney Siegel, attempts to gentrify a community by starring in the new HGTV show, Flipanthropy.
This isn’t their only priority; they’re also trying to conceive and start a family. Just when they believe that things will go smoothly, an alleged curse disturbs not only their relationship, but the many circumstances surrounding their show and the people around them.
Before they know it, their home improvement show becomes problematic, especially with producer Dougie Schecter (Benny Safdie) possessing all that’s awful about reality television.
The Curse is produced by A24 with main stars Safdie and Fielder serving as the show’s co-creators. Stone also executive produces, alongside Dave McCary, Ali Herting, Josh Safdie as additional executive producers. The new comedy-drama series initially premiered at the New York Film Festival on 12 October 2023 with its first first three episodes.
