How to watch The Cleaner in Australia

The Cleaner returns for season 2, putting expert crime scene cleaner Paul “Wicky” Wickstead back to doing the thing that he’s extremely good at – scrubbing crime scenes. Created by star Greg Davies, expect more moments that are dark as they are comical, and of course, more grisly crime scenes that need cleaning.

The Cleaner TV show preview

Paul Wickstead, played by Greg Davies, works in a very special field. As a state-certified cleaning technician, he’s responsible for the removal of any signs of death. Faced with blood and gore on a regular basis, he doesn’t even flinch because cleaning crime scenes is simply what he’s good at. His job also leads him to meet all kinds of people, from friends and relatives of the deceased to the culprits themselves.

In each episode, Wicky is tasked to clean crime scenes after the police are done investigating. With each crime scene comes different stories of the people who were killed, the people who were left behind, and even the stories behind the crime, all of which Wicky ends up digging into.

In The Cleaner Season 2, we’ll see more guest stars in their wackiest and most flamboyant moments while our favourite crime scene cleaner hustles to clean even bigger crime scenes!

For the second season, we can expect appearances from Asim Chaudhry (People Just Do Nothing), Harriet Walter (This Is Going to Hurt), and John MacMillan (House of the Dragon), just to name a few.
