The Barking Murders preview

Between 2014 and 2015, four young men were found dead in the Barking area of London. Despite the horrors of these crimes, justice remains elusive as police suspect accidental overdose.

The victims’ families believed otherwise, and so they fought for justice themselves, leading the authorities to apprehend Port, also known as the ‘The Grindr Killer’.

Created by Neil McKay, The Barking Murders tells the true story of how the victims’ courageous families were instrumental in nailing down Port despite great, dangerous odds against them, finally solving the murder cases that inflicted chaos in their lives.

Stephen Merchant, best known for his works in The Office UK and The Outlaws, gives a chilling portrayal of Stephen Port, while Sheridan Smith plays Sarah Sak, the mother of Anthony Walgate, Port’s first victim.
