In a galaxy far, far away, Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker meet again in the limited series, Obi-Wan Kenobi, 10 years after the tragic events of Revenge of the Sith, while a rebellion is already brewing in Andor; but there’s another Star Wars content to look forward to this month – Tales of the Jedi.
A collection of six animated shorts, fans can delve into the origin stories of fan favourite Ahsoka Tano, who was first introduced in The Clone Wars, and Count Dooku, a member of the Jedi Order before his eventual descent to darkness. Meanwhile, after making his long-awaited return to the Star Wars franchise, Liam Neeson appeared as Qui-Gon Jinn in the final moments of Obi-Wan Kenobi, and will also voice the character in Tales of the Jedi, joining Count Dooku as a young padawan.

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi preview
The Star Wars franchise expands with Tales of the Jedi, exploring different Jedi characters from the prequel era. It is split into two parts, the first is dedicated to Ahsoka Tano and the other to Count Dooku. Ashley Eckstein returns as the voice of Ahsoka, with fans getting a better glimpse of her as a child, a padawan, and an adult after the rise of the Empire.
The second part of Tales of the Jedi features Count Dooku during his pre-dark side days. For Star Wars fans, it’ll be interesting to see the character as a member of the Jedi Order, prior to coming under the dark influence of Darth Sidious, ultimately becoming one of the strongest dark side users in Star Wars.
Count Dooku appearing as a Jedi means he’ll also be joined by his young padawan Qui-Gon Jinn, their relationship to be further explored and probably examined whether Dooku’s tutelage contributed to Qui-Gon Jinn developing a philosophy that’s different from the Jedi Council.
Anakin Skywalker also returns as Ahsoka’s Jedi Master. Other members of the Jedi Order confirmed to appear are Mace Windu and Yaddle, as well as possibly brief appearances of Yoda and Obi-Wan.
Tales of the Jedi appears to be a unique science fiction offering from Star Wars. It tells stories from the prequel trilogy era and covers various narratives from before Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and after Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, so that fans can delve into the journey of the featured characters in different time periods.
Consisting of six episodes, Tales of the Jedi are directed by Charles Murray and Nathaniel Villanueva and created by executive producer Dave Filoni, with Carrie Beck and Athena Portillo serving as executive producers.
