Nearly two decades after Star Trek: Nemesis, Jean-Luc Picard is now a retired Starfleet admiral attempting to live a life of peace on his family’s vineyard. Many years may have passed but he’s still haunted by Data’s death and the destruction of the planet Romulus.
Thinking that his years of adventures are behind him, Picard instead finds himself embroiled in a completely dangerous mission when Data’s daughter, a synth (synthetic being), comes to him for help. With the third and final season of Star Trek Picard premiering this month, here’s how you can watch new episodes in Australia.

Star Trek: Picard Season 3 preview
A new adventure awaits in the final episodes of the science fiction series as Picard embarks on a more daring journey with a mysterious nemesis to take on. Set at the beginning of the 25th century, he reunites with his most loyal friends, the former crew members of the USS Enterprise as they’re hunted by an unrelenting villain.
With the direction that Season 3 will be taking, it’s a wonderful time to be a Star Trek fan. For starters, familiar faces from The Next Generation are set to return to the Star Trek universe, including Geordi La Forge, Worf, William Riker, Beverly Crusher, and Deanna Troi. Other legacy characters might also make surprise appearances in the show’s upcoming season.
Of course, Star Trek legend Sir Patrick Stewart also returns to the expanded Star Trek Universe playing one of the franchise’s iconic characters, Captain Jean-Luc Picard. Stewart played the role for seven seasons on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Embarking on his final mission, you can find out more about the concluding season as soon as new episodes roll out in Australia.
