After being announced in 2019, She-Hulk will finally stream on your screens with a premiere date set for August 2022. Last May, it was retitled as She-Hulk: Attorney at Law with Orphan Black actress Tatiana Maslany playing the titular character. Jennifer Walters is a lawyer who specialises in cases that involve superheroes and other metahumans. Her life changes forever after an injury required her to receive an emergency blood transfusion from none other than her cousin, Bruce Banner. As a result, she acquires his condition, albeit milder.
However, she experiences the same transformation that Bruce Banner undergoes, becoming a massive, super strong, green version of herself. But unlike Bruce, she’s able to retain her personality, particularly most of her intelligence. She can also control her emotions and is very much self-aware, setting the perfect opportunity to break the fourth wall every now and then (at least her comic book character does).
Nevertheless, the reluctant superhero is still susceptible to becoming enraged, aggravating her already complicated life. As her mentor-cousin Bruce has reminded her, transformations are triggered by anger and fear, which She-Hulk jokingly laments to being the “baseline of any woman just existing.”
The character of Jennifer Walters and her ultra-powered version, She-Hulk, has been in development to appear on television since the late 1980s. She was first set to appear in the 1990 television film The Death of the Incredible Hulk, but that didn’t happen.
A planned TV series focusing on her character didn’t materialise as well. It was only in 2019 when Marvel Studios announced the character’s live-action adaptation that She-Hulk will finally get her much-awaited television debut. Created by Jessica Gao for Disney Plus, it serves as the eight TV series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe produced by Marvel Studios.

How many seasons of She-Hulk?
Featuring the Marvel Comics character, She-Hulk, the series is likely to have succeeding seasons after it launches in August, though information on future instalments has yet to be announced by Marvel Studios. A She-Hulk film may also be a possibility at this point. Intended to be a part of Phase Four of the MCU, She-Hulk will consist of nine episodes, one episode short of the originally planned ten episodes.

Tatiana Maslany stars as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk in this new superhero series. It also features a host of MCU vets that include Mark Ruffalo to reprise his role as Bruce Banner/The Hulk and Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky aka Abomination.
