Paramount+’s new original series, School Spirits, is set to premiere in Australia later this year. Starring Peyton List (Cobra Kai), it follows a teen girl stuck in the afterlife while pre-occupied with a new mission at hand – solving her own murder and mysterious disappearance.
Continuing high school with the task of figuring out what really happened to her, Peyton List’s Maddie Nears has never been this motivated and resolved in life… afterlife, rather.

School Spirits TV series preview
School Spirits is an upcoming young adult drama series that revolves around high school student Maddie Nears. Following her murder, the young girl intends to find out the mysterious circumstances around her disappearance and untimely death, and why, while still dealing with high school in the afterlife.
As she embarks on her crime-solving journey and gets closer to the truth, she discovers more secrets and lies involving people she thought she could trust. Ultimately, she realises discovering the truth is not as liberating as it seems, as she struggles to confront every deception she has uncovered.
