Pinocchio 2022 movie preview
The new Pinocchio film adaptation retells the magical story of the famous wooden puppet named Pinocchio. Created by a woodworker and toymaker named Geppetto who longs to have a child, his wish is partly fulfilled when the Blue Fairy brings Pinocchio to life.
A puppet whose nose grows long when he lies and dreams of someday becoming a real boy, will the wish of a father’s longing for a child come true? Only if Pinocchio proves himself to be brave, honest, and selfless – as per the fairy’s “how to become a real boy” guidelines.
But considering the wooden puppet’s penchant for adventures that only lead to troubles, this may be harder than it seems. Thus, we will once again see the marvellous, magical, and misadventures of a cute puppet that enjoys little pranks and mischief, all while doing his best to meet his father’s expectations.
Based on Carlo Collodi’s children’s novel The Adventures of Pinocchio, Robert Zemeckis directs the live-action remake from a screenplay written by Zemeckis and Chris Weitz. Tom Hanks stars as Geppetto, a carpenter who builds and treats Pinocchio as his own son. Joining him in the main cast are Cynthia Erivo as The Blue Fairy, Luke Evans as The Coachman, and featuring the voices of Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Pinocchio and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Jiminy Cricket.
