PAW Patrol: The Movie preview

In nearby Adventure City, Mayor Humdinger, the recently elected mayor, uses his power to satisfy his every whim, causing all kinds of trouble in the city he’s supposed to protect. This is where the PAW Patrol gang enters the picture as they face every challenge head on, including PAW Patrol’s biggest rival, the mayor himself.

A savvy dachshund, Liberty, also steps in to help expose the mayor’s not-so-nice deeds in Foggy Bottom. Being a stranger, the pups, especially Chase, don’t trust her. Ryder says otherwise so Chase reluctantly follows the plan.

Armed with exciting new gadgets and adorable personalities, the PAW Patrol fights to stop Mayor Humdinger as he starts wreaking havoc in Adventure City. While they managed to stop the mayor from entirely ruining the city, Chase fails to save some people, burdening the pup even more.

Aside from the action and adventures, the movie also touches themes of friendship as Ryder and Chase’s friendship is put to the test, starting when Ryder suggests Chase should take a break from performing his duties. A series of cute and cool adventure scenes follow, which include Chase getting captured by Mayor Humdinger’s henchmen.

When Chase sees Ryder pinned as a result of no other than the major’s shenanigans, loyalty runs supreme. Ultimately, they patch things up when Ryder takes Chase at the City intersection. Looking back to how Ryder found Chase, it was actually Chase’s bravery that made Ryder choose him.

The PAW Patrol movie is one that kids will enjoy but even the grown-ups can appreciate the profound sentiments embedded into the film’s textured fabric. Find out how and when to watch it below.
