Nope film preview

Residents of Agua Dulce in inland California bear witness to a bizarre, chilling discovery. At the centre of it all are siblings Otis “OJ” Haywood Jr. and Emerald “Em” Haywood, now owners of the struggling Haywood ranch following their father’s mysterious death.

After discovering a UFO shaped like a flying saucer lurking in the skies, OJ and Em devise a plan to document its existence, thrilled at the idea of fame and wealth. Helping them capture images are electronics store employee Angel Torres and cinematographer Antlers Holst.

Calling the UFO Jean Jacket, they find a way to record it while minimising the danger they’re in. Their plan, however, comes across some complications and so even with experiencing Jean Jacket’s presence in the skies, the team scrambles to get a clear footage. They eventually did but with some harrowing consequences.

Nope is written, directed, and produced by Jordan Peele, who also reunited with Get Out star Daniel Kaluuya.
