Legacies Season 4 preview
Legacies Season 4 picks up where the events of the previous third season left off – Hope and her friends battling with the villainous Malivore. Prior to the big face-off, Landon and Cleo left Mystic Falls, hoping to find another way to defeat Malivore. Hope and Clarke followed them, and from there things got deadly intense. Landon nearly killed Clarke and after Alaric saw him swallowing Cleo whole (yikes), came the realisation that Landon was Malivore all along.
The face-off proves to be lethal for everyone involved and will continue in the fourth season as Malivore is too powerful to take down. With many lives at stake, Hope may sacrifice her life to save her friends. While she descended from a powerful vampire, werewolf, and witch bloodline, Hope is not a vampire herself. But with Malivore constantly threatening everyone she holds dear, death may be the only thing that would finally make her embrace her true form.
Besides, it’s not so often that characters in The Vampire Diaries universe die for good. They somehow return in another form or shape so all hope is not lost. With this to consider, there’s an endless possibility as to what the future brings to our young protagonist and whether her potential death could lead for the ‘new Hope’ to emerge, considering she is the only known tribrid to exist.
Season 4 will hopefully answer all the major questions that the season 3 finale left fans with serious cliffhanger feels. For instance, what happened to the real Landon? Will they be able to defeat the ever-persistent monster Malivore once and for all and does Hope need to die in order to take him down? Don’t miss the Legacies season 4 premiere and its additional episodes to find out.
