Picking up several years after the events of the Justified Season 6 finale, Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens is back in Justified: City Primeval. In this continuation of the acclaimed series Justified, which aired for six seasons from 2010 to 2015, Timothy Olyphant returns as Raylan; only this time he’s based in Miami after having left Kentucky 15 years ago. Navigating this new chapter of his life, he divides his time between his work as a marshal and a father to his teenage daughter. Until a chance encounter on a desolate Florida highway sends to Detroit where he finds himself in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse with a violent sociopath.

Justified: City Primeval preview
Justified City Primeval continues Raylan Givens’ story with a new setting and new characters that Justified fans are looking forward to meeting. The upcoming sequel is based on another Elmore Leonard novel, City Primeval: High Noon in Detroit and developed by Dave Andron and Michael Dinner.
Fifteen years after the events of the original series, City Primeval follows Raylan in Detroit as he crosses paths with Clement Mansell, aka The Oklahoma Wildman (Boyd Holbrook), and his formidable defense attorney Carolyn Wilder (Aunjanue Ellis). Mansell is a sociopathic desperado who’s already evaded justice and is likely to strike again.
Raylan’s resolve to get him at all costs only puts him on a collision course with Mansell, raising the stakes in this crime thriller that’s bound to be just as excellent as its predecessor.
With their paths and fates intertwined, these three characters face each other head-on in classic Elmore Leonard fashion, to see who makes it out of City Primeval alive.
