How to watch the iCarly reboot in Australia
Dive back into the world of iCarly with the delightful revival series, which first premiered in 2021. Following in the same footsteps of other revivals, a fresh and fun-filled season begins by bringing together the original cast members and introducing a new generation of viewers to the comedy gold that made the show a hit.
Returning to the spotlight is Miranda Cosgrove, reprising her role as the quick-witted Carly Shay. Alongside her, we have Jerry Trainor back as Carly’s older brother, Spencer, and Nathan Kress as Freddie Benson. These familiar faces bring a sense of nostalgia and joy as they embark on a brand new chapter in their lives.
Set nine years after the events of the previous series, Carly decides to return to Seattle after a break-up to revive her iCarly webshow. Sharing an apartment with her roommate Harper (played by Laci Mosley), her life only gets more exciting as she immerses herself in the world of online adventures and hilarious antics.
Meanwhile, Spencer has become a renowned artist thanks to a fortuitous accident that led to the creation of a renowned sculpture. And Freddie, after facing personal challenges, including two divorces and a failed tech start-up, returns to live with his mother, bringing along Freddie’s snarky and social media-savvy stepdaughter, Millicent. Meanwhile, Sam Puckett is off following her dreams with a biker gang. Fan-favourite character Noah Munck is yet to reprise his role as Gibby, iCarly reboot has already featured his younger brother, Guppy.
During the second season finale, Carly discovers and confronts her unresolved romantic feelings for Freddie.
