Set in the colourful 1920s Shanghai, this exciting adventure introduces us to young Sam Wing (the very same future shop owner Mr. Wing in the 1984 classic), who comes across a young Mogwai called Gizmo. Alongside Elle, a teenage street thief, they face evil Gremlins controlled by a villainous industrialist and embark on a dangerous journey to protect their city.
The new series boasts a stellar voice cast, including James Hong, Matthew Rhys, Ming-Na Wen, Randall Park, B. D. Wong, and George Takei. Developed by Tze Chun with Warner Bros. Animation and Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television co-producing for HBO Max, Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai promises to entertain audiences of all ages. Joe Dante, director of the original two films, also serves as a consultant for the series.
