Chris Evans and Ana de Armas teams up for the third time in Apple TV+’s new rom-com action adventure Ghosted. It follows Evans’ Cole Riggan who finds himself utterly captivated by de Armas’ Sadie, even though it appears she has ghosted him. Taking a risk and making a grand romantic gesture, he makes the shocking discovery that she’s actually a secret agent. Now all he has to do is embark on an international adventure, fight a bunch of bad guys, and ultimately save the world. But at least he wasn’t really ghosted.

Ghosted movie (2023) preview
In Ghosted, Cole falls head over heels for enigmatic Sadie after they meet cute and spend some romantic moments together—only to find out that it might take some time before they go on that second date. As it turns out, Sadie is a CIA agent tasked to accomplish a secret mission while the fate of the world hangs in the balance. Getting entangled in Sadie’s covert affairs, Cole finds himself dodging bullets, jumping out of a plane, and swallowing rocks. So much for romantic gestures. But again, at least he wasn’t ghosted.
Ghosted is directed by Dexter Fletcher (Rocketman) from a screenplay by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Chris McKenna, and Erik Sommers. In addition to Evans and de Armas, the film features a stellar cast that includes Adrien Brody and Tim Blake Nelson. Ghosted is also a joint venture between Apple Studios and Skydance.
