Citadel, a new spy series from the Russo Brothers (Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame) is coming to Amazon Prime in April. The expectations are high for this one, which began back in 2018 when Amazon announced its plan to create a global event series that will include multiple spin-offs in different countries.
As such, Citadel will bring out the big guns, showcasing major names, grand locations, top-tier action, stupendous tech, and a whopping budget. Most importantly, Amazon’s ambitious spy series will deliver a riveting plot revolving around Citadel, a global spy agency eradicated by its rival Manticore.
An Amazon Prime Video exclusive, Citadel stars Richard Madden (Game of Thrones) and Priyanka Chopra Jonas (The Matrix Resurrections) as surviving Citadel agents Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh.

How to watch Citadel TV series in Australia
Global spy agency Citadel is an independent intelligence organisation tasked with the world’s security, that is until Manticore, Citadel’s rival intelligence agency, destroys their entire operation. Surviving Citadel operatives, special agents Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh, are left to their own devices, especially after their memories are wiped clean. Unaware of their past and connection, they forge new, ordinary lives.
Their past, however, manages to unveil on its own. As they embark on a mission to rediscover their identities, they team up with a former Citadel colleague, Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), to find out the truth. What follows is an international controversy with multiple characters dealing with a crisis so large-scale, equipped with edge of your seat espionage, and non-stop action that’ll take audiences on an adrenaline-filled journey.
Created by Josh Appelbaum and Bryan Oh, Citadel is executive produced by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, alongside Mike Larocca, Scott Nemes, and David Weil, among others. As Amazon intends to make Citadel an exclusive franchise for the streamer, an Indian adaptation has already been confirmed to be in the works.
