Chicago Fire Season 13 is set to be another action-packed season.
The Chicago franchise continues this year with Season 13, just months after the twelfth season debuted earlier this year. The show has always been a big hit with Aussie TV fans, and the latest season should be no different with new faces and new heroic saves to feature.
Michael Brandt and Derek Haas, who penned the screenplays for 2 Fast 2 Furious, 3:10 to Yuma, and Wanted, created the action drama series, which first aired back in 2012.

Where to watch Chicago Fire Season 13 in Australia?
Chicago Fire Season 12 premieres in Australia via Foxtel and Foxtel Now. New episodes are scheduled to air on the Foxtel One channel.
As of this writing, only Foxtel and Foxtel Now broadcasts the new season.
How to sign up to Foxtel or Foxtel Now?
For Chicago Fire streaming in Australia, Foxtel offers every new episode on Foxtel One. Fortunately, the base Foxtel Plus bundle already includes the channel, the home of trending shows alongside Showcase.
To get started, choose a Foxtel entertainment plan you want to sign up for. The cheapest package is Foxtel Plus, which includes over 60 channels of drama, lifestyle, news, kids TV, music channels, and more. It even includes the Multiscreen feature to watch Foxtel on another screen via smart TV app or casting.
You can also stream the new docuseries when you sign up for Foxtel’s online streaming service, Foxtel Now, which still offers a free 10-day trial for new customers.
On the Foxtel Now website, select the ‘Start free trial’ button to get started. After the free trial, Foxtel Now plans start at $25 per month for the base Essentials pack, which includes LifeStyle. You can also choose to add more channels with premium packs: Drama Extra, Movies, Sport, or get everything with All Packs.
Is Chicago Fire streaming on BINGE?
Seasons 6-9 of Chicago Fire are still available on BINGE for streaming. To access earlier episodes, you can sign up for the first time using the service’s 7-day free trial.
You can then choose from three streaming tiers to watch the best BINGE shows on demand. A Basic with Ads plan allows you to stream in HD on one device. An ad-free Standard Plan enables you to enjoy standard or high definition (soon on 4K) on two devices.
The BINGE Premium Plan is the last alternative, allowing you to stream on up to four screens/devices in SD or HD. All BINGE plans come with no lock-in contract so you can cancel anytime.
Is Chicago Fire available on Amazon Prime Video?
Another subscription-based service that offers Chicago Fire in Australia is Amazon Prime Video, which currently has seasons 1-10 of the show.
Fortunately, Prime still offers a 30-day free trial, which is quite a generous entry point to check out Amazon. Once you have had your fill for a month, you can decide to renew or cancel your subscription.
In Australia, subscription plans for Amazon Prime Video are available for as low as $9.99 per month (with ads). Plus, it is a part of the larger Prime membership that includes shopping and other goodies. The annual plan works out to be cheaper with a $79 membership for 12 months.
The good thing about getting an Amazon Prime membership is that it unlocks everything Amazon offers; including free delivery and first pick on shopping discounts, even with just a single subscription.
What is Chicago Fire Season 13 be about?
Chicago Fire is the first instalment of the Chicago franchise, followed by Chicago P.D., Chicago Med, and the short-lived Chicago Justice. The show follows the life of Chicago Fire Department firefighters, rescuers, and paramedics in the fictitious Chicago Firehouse 51, which is home to Engine Company 51, Truck Company 81, Rescue Squad Company 3, Battalion 25, and Ambulance 61.
So, what’s next for the firefighters of Firehouse 51? While the previous Chicago Fire Season 12 featured the return of Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) after his absence in Chicago Fire Season 11, the team just lost another beloved member with Chief Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker) exiting the show after 12 seasons, although it would seem he’s still returning as a recurring character.
Boden’s departure was a result of his winning the position for Chief Wallace Boden, which entails him leaving his crew. If Boden’s words are anything to go by, Christopher Herrmann (David Eigenberg) is next in line to replace the former Battalion chief, having passed the Battalion chief exam and becoming a captain.
But with Dermot Mulroney joining the main cast in the new season, Herrmann’s time has yet to come. It’s been confirmed last July that Mulroney will be playing the role of Chief Dom Pascal, Boden’s replacement. Little is known about Firehouse 51’s new chief; we’ll know soon enough with Chicago Fire Season 13 landing on our TV screens tonight!
