In a Victorian fantasy world where chaos, fear, and desire for power run supreme, a human detective with mysterious origins and a faerie reignite a passionate yet daring love affair. While mythological immigrant creatures co-exist with humans on this side of the universe, theirs is a forbidden romance that’s further complicated by dark magic, political power plays, and an increasingly intolerant society.
It’s been nearly four years since the first season of Carnival Row had graced our screens. After waiting that long, Philo and Vignette Stonemoss, the star-crossed lovers of Carnival Row, finally return for a second and final season of the gritty fantasy series. Find out how you can watch new episodes right here.

Carnival Row Season 2 preview
In the new season, Philo and Vignette are back together, but the Row’s current state threatens to tear them apart. While Philo left the police force in the first season, he’s asked to investigate new gruesome murders. Vignette, on the other hand, intends to start a rebellion, seeing it the only way to ensure her people’s freedom.
However, as mentioned, there’s a string of new murders plaguing the Row and it all points to a monster killing both cops and fae, aggravating the tension between humans and the fae folk. With vicious killings more rampant, everyone needs to choose sides, putting the Row’s uneasy peace in a more delicate position.
Season 2 will have 10 episodes to conclude the fate of The Burgue, the fae and Carnival Row itself. New cast members have also joined the second season, including Jay Ali (Daredevil) as Kaine and Joanne Whalley (Willow) as Leonora. The fantasy series is created by René Echevarria and Travis Beacham for Amazon Studios, based on Beacham’s unproduced film spec script, A Killing on Carnival Row.
