Beyond All Limits docuseries preview

For five years, Lewis Hamilton was F1’s world champion until the closest finish in Formula 1 history gave Max Verstappen the opportunity to pull off that deciding overtake at turn 5 during the final lap, spawning perhaps one of the greatest racing moments ever. In Beyond All Limits, the battle between Hamilton and Verstappen will be further explored, as well as their respective Mercedes and Red Bull teams and their all or nothing win at all costs mentality.

Laying bare to the complexities of the race with F1 being one of the most demanding sports in the world, the docuseries examines the mental and physical toll that it takes to secure victory. It also delves into the psyche of two of the best F1 drivers right now and analyses pivotal moments of each race during the 2021 championship season.

Appearing in the three-part docuseries are Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen themselves, alongside former F1 world champions Sir Jackie Stewart, Mika Hakkinen and Emerson Fittipaldi. Performance psychologist Tom Bates also joins the docuseries to unveil and inspect every major flashpoint in Hamilton and Verstappen’s 2021 championship battle.

With the 2022 season approaching, there’s no final chapter to this grand rivalry just yet, and the questions and intrigue surrounding every possible F1 event currently dominate every motorsport platform.
