In 2022’s Beast movie, Idris Elba plays a recently widowed husband who takes his two teenage daughters to a South African game reserve. But what starts as a family trip to heal and reconnect with his children becomes a dreadful story of survival after coming across with an apex predator with the pure intention to kill.
After its theatrical run in Australia, Beast finally drops on streaming TV this month. Find out how you can watch the new survival thriller on demand with the information below.
What’s in this Guide?
Beast movie preview
Beast follows Dr. Nate Samuels and his daughters, Meredith and Norah, as they travel to South Africa and visit a game reserve managed by an old family friend, biologist Martin Battles. Their vacation quickly turns into a horrifying fight for survival when, while touring the reserve, they witness remnants of animal attacks.
Soon they encounter a massive rogue lion intent on proving that he’s king of the wild. Having survived ruthless poachers, the predator becomes even more unforgiving and merciless.
Beast is directed by Baltasar Kormákur (2 Guns, Everest) from a screenplay by Ryan Engle. It stars Idris Elba in the lead role with Sharlto Copley, Iyana Halley, and Leah Sava Jeffries also joining the main cast. If you want to see Idris Elba fight a ferocious apex predator, this is just the movie you’ll want to see.
