History Channel is finally releasing the tenth season of the American survival competition series Alone, and fans in Australia can watch every new episode on select streaming services. The new Alone Season 10 follows contestants as they share their self documented daily struggles in the most severe, rigid island weather in northern Saskatchewan, a province in Western Canada. Known for its unforgiving weather conditions and ferocious predators, contestants are off to a brutal start.

Alone Season 10 is officially titled Alone: Reindeer Lake, set in northern Saskatchewan in Western Canada. With insane temperatures to endure, harsh landscapes to navigate, and vicious predators roaming around, the remaining survivalists begin deep isolation when entering the program.
Ten seasons in and Alone still delivers exactly what it promises – adventure, suspense, and even serenity at times despite looming dangers. In every season, the remaining participants use their extensive wit and skills to survive the harshest conditions in the middle of nowhere, all alone – no teams or camera crew around them.
With the mental and physical intensity of the competition (even hunt for food leads to disastrous consequences), contestants who want to leave the competition (called “tapping out”) can do so by signalling a rescue crew using a satellite telephone provided. To avoid serious health risks, medical professionals also conduct periodic health checks on the contestants.
The medical check-ins are regularly performed to ensure that everyone can continue participating safely. Contestants are also warned that the series could last for up to a year and are isolated from other humans, except for when a medical check-in is necessary.
In Alone Season 10, ten contestants will show us how they can survive and compete on an island with limited and pre-approved list of food and survival gear. The participants will be dropped off in undisclosed locations on the island where being confronted by aggressive wildlife is commonplace.
From there, they will solely journey through the wild as they familiarise themselves with the uncharted terrain and weather of the island to camp, find food, and survive anything that poses as a threat or an arduous challenge, may that be a ferocious predator, viciously freezing temperatures, or when a brutal storm batters the remaining contestants.
Alone Season 10 release date
The new season of Alone premieres in Australia on Friday, 9 June 2023 on Foxtel (A&E channel), as well as on Foxtel Now and BINGE. Just like Alone Season 9, the latest season also consists of 11 episodes, which concluded on 18 August 2023.

Alone Australia
An Australian version of the popular reality adventure series, Alone Australia, finally premiered on SBS last 29 March 2023. The local spin-off was filmed around a remote lake in Tasmania’s West Coast during the winter of 2022. The first ever Alone Australia winner was Gina Chick, having survived isolation for 67 days. This makes her only the second female and oldest contestant in the history of the series worldwide to win.
