What is the Grace TV series about?

Roy Grace (Simm) is a Brighton-based detective whose wife disappeared several years ago. Struggling with the devastating truth that she may never come back, he devotes his time taking on cold cases.

His unorthodox approach to solving crimes also puts his career at risk, although his superiors and colleagues eventually realise his methods actually bring in results.

In Grace Season 1,  Grace investigates the disappearance of a Brighton property developer with his colleague, Detective Sergeant Glenn Branson (Richie Campbell). Now in its fourth season, we’ll find Grace and Branson investigating a vicious robbery case at an isolated Brighton home.

The robbers took thousands of pounds worth of antiques but as they delve deeper into the case, they discover it is more puzzling than it actually seems. Before they know it, they are taken to a dark, murderous trail in which they need to navigate the surreptitiously dangerous  world of Brighton antiques.

The Grace TV series is penned by acclaimed screenwriter Russell Lewis for ITV and directed by John Alexander and Julia Ford.
