Women’s Rugby League fans throughout Australia are excited for the kick off of the 2023 NRLW premiership. Last season the Newcastle Knights won their maiden title, but the competition will be even greater with the league expanding to ten teams.
The 2023 NRLW Premiership will be the sixth season of Women’s Rugby in Australia. It’s also set to be historic with the inclusion of four new teams, the Cronulla Sharks, Canberra Raiders, North Queensland Cowboys, and Wests Tigers.
This brings the total number of women’s Rugby League teams to ten. Joining the Newcastle Knights, Parramatta Eels, Brisbane Broncos, Gold Coast Titans, St. George Illawarra Dragons and Sydney Roosters.
The NRL Women’s regular season kicked off last Saturday, 22 July, and will commence after nine rounds on Sunday, 17 September. The top four teams will advance to the Finals during the weekend of 23-24 September. The finals conclude with the Grand Final, which is scheduled for the 1st of October.

This weekend sees the NRLW Grand Final which will kick-off at 3:55pm and should finish at approximately 5:30pm (AEDT). The game features the Newcastle Knights and Gold Coast Titans.
For the Knights it will be a chance to repeat, while the Titans will be making their first-ever appearance in the NRLW Grand Final.
The Women’s Final is just one of the featured events on Grand Final Day, which includes the Men’s NRL Grand Final at 7:30pm.

Where to watch NRLW 2023 live in Australia
In a historic deal for Women’s Rugby, the live broadcast rights for the 2023 NRLW season and all 48 matches will be shared between free-to-air Network Nine, Foxtel and Kayo Sports.
Channel Nine will carry the NRLW TV broadcasts, which also includes the option to stream the matches live using the 9Now platform. The Network’s coverage also includes a women’s rugby show, NRLW Wrap, as well as a weekly podcast, NRLW Weekly.
Alternatively, all 48 NRLW games will also be broadcast live on the Fox League channel, and available on Foxtel, Foxtel Now and Kayo Sports. The matches will be shown ad-break-free during live play, and coverage will also include the weekly show NRLW on Fox.
Foxtel, Foxtel Now and Kayo Sports will likewise make every NRLW match available on replay, including full games and condensed “minis”.

You can subscribe to Foxtel Now to watch the NRLW 2023 online. Foxtel Now will carry every NRL Women’s game live and ad-break free including the grand final.
