The 88th edition of the legendary tournament will take place at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, from April 12 to 15 (AEDT). There are no qualifying tournaments or alternates for the Masters, which is an invitational event and the most exclusive of the four majors, unlike the rest of the major championships.
The top 50 players in the world, as well as previous winners, current champions, and high finishers in professional and amateur competitions, are automatically invited. This year’s tournament will feature LIV golf and PGA Tour players all competing for the prestigious green jacket, and you won’t have to miss a key moment when watching or streaming the Masters live in Australia.
How to watch the 2024 Masters Tournament live in Australia
The Master’s Tournament is one of the four majors on the PGA Tour, and the Australian broadcast rights belong exclusively to Fox Sports (Foxtel/Kayo) and Nine Network. The Nine network’s free to air coverage will be carried by 9GEM, and the live broadcasts will be limited to 5:00am – 9:30am during the opening three rounds, even if play extends beyond that time, and from 4:00am until the finish of the Final Round.
Fox Sports, however, via Foxtel and Kayo, will provide the most comprehensive live coverage of every round, ad-break free during play, and in Ultra 4K HD. Starting from Friday, 12 April, right through the Final Round on Monday, April 15th, Fox Sports (Foxtel/Kayo) will carry over 120 hours of live programming. This coverage includes pre and post-tournament shows, as well as The Masters replays for those who find them more convenient.
Additionally, on Friday morning from 12.30am (AEDT), Foxtel and Kayo will also have live coverage of Amen Corner.
Fortunately, there are several options for watching the Masters Tournament on Fox Sports in Australia, including Foxtel, Foxtel Now, Foxtel from Telstra and Kayo Sports. Additionally, both Foxtel Now and the streaming service Kayo Sports currently offer new subscribers a free trial, and each is more than long enough to cover the entire tournament.
