The 2019 Rugby World Cup is fully underway, and it couldn’t come soon enough for an England side looking for redemption after a disappointing Group Stage exit in front of their home fans back in 2015. England’s next match vs the Springboks will determine the 2019 Rugby World Cup champion, and you can catch every minute of the action when watching at home on TV or streaming the matches live to an eligible device using the options listed in this guide.
Rugby World Cup 2019 TV Preview: England
England hosted the most recent World Cup back in 2015, and it ended in major disappointment as they finished behind Australia and Wales in the Group Stage and failed to advance to the final eight. They looked like the team to beat in the Six Nations earlier this year before being brought back to earth with a loss to Wales, and in a strong pool which features France, Argentina, USA and Tonga, it’s difficult to predict how they will go in the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
They do, however, boast a wealth of depth and plenty of top-end talent, and if they play in the way most believe they are capable they could easily advance deep into the tournament. One of the more difficult teams to pick in the tournament, they are one of the few sides who seem capable of both failing to make it out of the Group Stage and winning the entire tournament, making them one of the most intriguing teams in this year’s World Cup. With a chance to clinch the title, the England vs South Africa Springboks clash on the 2nd of November will be must-see TV.

England World Cup Match Previews
After opening their World Cup with matches against Tonga and the USA which they will be expecting to win, England faces a bigger test on the 5th of October when they clash against Argentina. Though England is undoubtedly the better side, the Argentina team look an improved outfit and demonstrated some promise in the recently concluded 2019 Rugby Championship with narrow losses to both the All Blacks and the Australian Wallabies. Kicking off at 6.00pm on a Saturday night, England vs Argentina will draw plenty of interest from around the globe.
One week later, England’s Group Stage ends with a match against the other team most likely to challenge them for top spot in their group in France. The French Rugby team have had a frustrating history at the game’s biggest event, finishing runners-up on three occasions, third on one occasion and fourth a further three times while failing to ever win. The eighth-ranked side in the world, they won’t be expected to change that this year but they could easily pose problems for England.
