What is the Found TV series about?

Shameless actress Shanola Hampton plays a fierce recovery specialist in this new series, which revolves around gripping investigations of missing people. As infuriating as it is disturbing, those who have been missing for so long eventually just become statistics.
But for a team of recovery specialists who have experienced the same harrowing fate, their personal traumas are what fuel them to save those who have been overlooked by the system and bring them home.
Gabi, known for her skillset combined with her intuition and grit, is the team’s inspiring leader. Exhausting all her options to search for forgotten victims, however, could become her own undoing as she harbours a chilling secret: the person responsible for her kidnapping years ago is locked up in her basement.
But how long can Gabi keep her basement a secret to the world? The Season 1 finale appears to have answered this question as Gabi’s childhood kidnapper known as “Sir” (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) has escaped captivity, forcing Gabi to come clean about this longstanding secret she’s kept for years.
Found Season 2 picks up where the first season left off: Sir, a dangerous criminal is on the loose. His escape will certainly have dangerous consequences, which have also started with Lacey (Gabrielle Walsh) disappearing.
Lacey and Gabi were abducted by Sir as children and managed to escape captivity together. Now they belong in a team with the sole purpose of finding kidnapped victims, but with Lacey kidnapped again, Gabi knows she needs to cross many more lines to bring her back.

Found stars Shanola Hampton, who plays the main character Gabrielle Mosely. Starring alongside her is Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Hugh “Sir” Evans, the criminal who kidnapped Gabi as a young girl.
The cast also includes Kelli Williams as Margaret Reed, Brett Dalton as Mark Trent, Gabrielle Walsh as Lacey Quinn, Arlen Escarpeta as Zeke Wallace, Karan Oberoi as Dhan Rana, Dionne Gipson as Gina, and Michael Cassidy as Christian. Found TV series was created by Nkechi Okoro Carroll, who also serves as a showrunner with Sonay Hoffman.
