What is Fire Country about?

Bode Donovan (Max Thieriot) is a young convict who joins a firefighting program for prisoners, wanting to shorten his sentence and redeem himself from troubles in the past. Together with other volunteer inmates, they work alongside elite firefighters in putting out massive wildfires.

But when Bode is assigned to his hometown, he’s forced to confront a major part of his already buried past and reunite with some people who aren’t thrilled to see him again.

Once the golden boy of his town, he left and planned to never come back after a family tragedy. With Cal Fire his only chance of getting out, he’s left with no choice but to confront his past.

Lead star Max Thieriot co-created the series alongside Tony Phelan and Joan Rater. Jerry Bruckheimer produced the show for CBS.
